ADHD Initial Assessment
The assessment for ADHD should be comprehensive and investigative. In our assessment, we will openly discuss your individual symptoms and explore inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. I am committed to taking the time to explore various aspects of your life where ADHD may have been problematic in both the past and the present.
Using a gold standard assessment for ADHD, we ensure to consider both the presence and persistence of these symptoms to allow for an accurate and meaningful diagnosis.
The assessment journey can sometimes bring a mixture of emotions and it is important to me that you feel both relaxed and supported from the outset.
A post-diagnosis conversation will also be included in your assessment appointment to ensure you have a complete understanding of the outcome and allow you time to discuss the next steps for treatment and support.
